When Jesus gets to the top of the mountain, Moses and Elijah are not there. Instead, there's a man with three nails. Jesus is nailed to the cross. He is lying flat on the cross that he bore for us. He is lying flat on the ground. He is placed upon it. He is nailed to it as if he were a board. His flesh bleeds, but still he bears it all for us.
