The verdict of Pontius Pilate changed things. Pilate tried to wash his hands of Jesus. He could not. The verdict changed things and the journey to the cross began in earnest at this first station. May you reflect on those moments when paths diverge. May you remember that Jesus took the hard road, received condemnation for us, and was willing to walk the path of the cross.
