The first people to announce the news of Jesus' resurrection were the women who cared for him. As he finishes his journey to the cross, Jesus cares for the women of Jerusalem. He offers peace. He offers mercy. He offers humanity. He does not shy away. He does not see women as less than men. He does not see them as weak. Jesus offers himself to all, not just the men, not just the rich, to all.
