The teachers at Bee Loved Preschool are dedicated in providing a safe, warm and loving educational experience for all of their students. All of the teachers go through extensive training on courses relevant to providing the best education and care for the children at Bee Loved Preschool. We are a community that transforms lives!!! 

  • Brandi Young - Director

    Brandi grew up in Seabrook, Texas. She moved to Austin in 1991 to attend college and never left. Brandi graduated from The University of Texas with a Liberal Arts degree in Psychology. She received her Montessori Certification to teach children ages 2 to 6 years old in 2008. Brandi has worked as the preschool director for Bee Loved Preschool since 2010. Brandi and her husband Paul own Fricano's Deli in Austin, TX near UT campus. She's also the proud mother of two wonderful boys. Layne is a Senior at Lake Travis High School and Cade is studying at the University of Chicago.

  • Kayla West-Regner - Lead Teacher - 4's: M/T/W/TH

    Kayla has lived in Spicewood for the past 10 years. She has two children: Daylen who is 10 this year, and Irelan who is 8 years old. Both Kayla and her husband Anthony love living in Spicewood. Kayla has her Master's degree in Psychology from Texas State University. She has taught preschool for the past 18 years, predominently in a Montessori setting. She is looking forward to getting to know all the new children in her classroom! 

  • Denise King - Lead Teacher - 4's M,T,W,TH & After Care Teacher

    Denise was born and raised in Texas, residing mainly in the Austin area. She and her husband Matt have 2 wonderful children. After being a stay at home mom, she volunteered at Lake Travis schools and was a Girl Scout leader. Denise has thoroughly enjoyed teaching at Bee Loved since 2010. She also has provided many years of fun summer camps.

  • Leigh Muller - 3's Lead Teacher - M, T, W, TH

    My name is Leigh Muller, I was born and raised in Northern, New Jersey. I have always wanted to work with children. I attended Rutgers University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Psychology; Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education. I am certified to teach Nursery through 8th Grade. I was also a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education. I began teaching first and second grade at Forrest Elementary in my hometown of Fair Lawn, New Jersey after graduation.

    In 2012, my husband Ryan and I decided to move our family to Austin. We have 2 children, our son Sean is a senior at LTHS and my daughter Ava is a freshman this year. I decided to be a stay at home-mom but stayed very involved at their Elementary Schools through PTA and Room-Mom activities. Once children were old enough, I decided to go back to teaching. I wanted to work with younger children and took a job at Lake Travis United Methodist Church Preschool. I was the lead teacher for the MWF 3โ€™s class there. My free time is spent watching the Lake Travis High Band march or watching my daughter play tennis.

    I am very excited to begin my newest adventure teaching at Bee Loved!

  • Casie Pelczar - Lead Teacher- 2's M/T/W/TH

    My name is Casie Pelczar and I am proud to be a part of the Bee Loved family.  I majored in Family and Child Development at Texas State (back in the day it was called Southwest Texas ๐Ÿ˜‰).  I love working in the 2 year old classroom, they are so eager to learn new things and I just love watching them grow! When I'm not teaching, I love traveling with my family, my husband Eric (23 years!), Charlsey (freshman at Texas A&M), Carsen (sophomore at Lake Travis) and Chandlyr (3rd grade at West Cypress).

  • Janis Anderson - Assistant Teacher- 2's: M/T/WTH

    Janis is the Assistant in the 2 year old class this year. She is also new to our school but comes with valuable background experiences. She lived  in New York City until the death of her mother, she was relocated to Dominica West Indies to live with her aunt. After graduation she returned to Las Cruses, New Mexico and obtained her BA in Medical Social Work. She is married to Rick for 39 years and has two daughters and adopted a nephew. Janis owned and operated a licensed daycare then worked in the school system as an assistant while her children were school aged. Janis and Rick were called into the ministry and served several years leading churches. 

  • Millicent "Renee" Jardine - Music Teacher/ 3's Assistant Teacher (T,W,Th)

    Millicent grew up in Corpus Christi and moved to Austin in 2001. She completed her Bachelorโ€™s degree in Music Studies, Choral Emphasis at The University of Texas in Austin and has worked with children of all ages for over a decade. Millicent currently lives in Spicewood with her husband, Eric and her two children, Ryder and Emery. 

  • Tara Michieli- Lead Teacher  3's T, W, Th

    Tara grew up Cleveland, Ohio but slowly made her way to south until she eventually met her husband in Dallas, Texas.  She has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and is a state certified teacher with over six years of classroom experience in third and fourth grades.  Since her children are currently younger, she thought it would be fun to teach at Bee Loved Preschool for an exciting change. Tara loves being creative with her students by adding music and movement to whatever theyโ€™re learning!  

  • Stephanie Ivie Harvey -  Lead Teacher

    Stephanie was born and raised in northern New Mexico. She came to Texas after completing her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Stephanie spent several years as a case manager in a crisis counseling center before making a career shift into education. She is a certified special education teacher who taught for six years before taking a brief hiatus following the birth of her daughter Haven. This summer Stephanie and her family moved to the Spicewood area from Dripping Springs, and are loving their new community. Stephanie is thrilled to be part of the Bee Loved team and cannot wait to meet her students!

  • Dani Luce - Assistant Teacher-3's M/T/W/Th

    Iโ€™m Dani Luce. (Pronounced Donny) I grew up in a small town near Chicago and got my BA at the College of St. Francis. My family moved to the great state of Texas in 2015, and we have loved every minute. I have been a stay at home mom to our three boys and have been very active volunteering at their schools. Our oldest son, Brett, just married his wife, Courtney, in November. They live in Indianapolis. Our middle son, Jack, is a senior at LT. He played the quads in the marching band and was the captain of the drumline. He will attend Texas A&M in the fall. Our youngest son, Gabe, is a sophomore at LT. He also plays the quads on the drumline. Our boys are the light of my life. My husband, Ron, and I enjoy attending the LT football games and watching our boys perform. We just moved to Spicewood and love being by the river and hiking.I like reading, crafting, water sports, bible study, and doing barre. Iโ€™m really enjoying working with the three year olds at Bee Loved. They are precious.

  • Devin Vicars -  Assistant Teacher 4's M/T/W/Th

    My name is Devin Vicars.  I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. I grew up in Lake Travis and made my way back to this beautiful area seven years ago. My husband and I have a 5 year old son Owen that is currently in the Bee Loved Preschool program, and he absolutely loves it!  I have a Bachelors Degree in English and a Graduate Degree in Education from Texas State University.  I am a state certified teacher.  I have taught Preschool, in a Montessori setting, and I have also taught in public schools.  I was the Life Skills teacher at Marble Falls High School for four years and was the Head of Delegation and Certified Coach for the Special Olympics team.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, and our Irish Wolfhound puppy, Dakota, in the great outdoors, or playing sports of any kind.

  • Sandra Jones- Substitute Teacher

    Sandra  is the Assistant in the 18month old class and a Floater. She was born and educated in Trinidad West Indies and the United Kingdom. She relocated to the USA in 1981 via Arkansas. She is a retired VA Registered Nurse with 36 years experience both in the US and abroad. She has 2  daughters and 4 grand children whom she adores. Sandra loves children and gardening. She joined the staff of Bee Loved in February 2019 . She is  truly enjoying the children and this experience.


  • Maria Cooper- Substitute Teacher  

    Maria was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Austin with her family, late summer of 2017.  She attended Phillips Jr. College and Mt. St. Mary's in Los Angeles. Maria worked in the Hair Industry for many years. In California she volunteered at her church with the preschool ministry and continues to do the same at her church here in Austin. Maria is a proud mother of two, Collin and Alanah. She loves and genuinely enjoys working with children and is extremely grateful to be part of Bee Loved.
