Prayer Shawl Ministry

Do you love to knit or would you love to learn how?

The Prayer Shawl Ministry combines compassion and the love of knitting/crocheting into a prayerful ministry which reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace or in celebration and joy. The ministry believes in the awesome power of prayer and petitions God. Every stitch is made on behalf of the person who will receive the shawl. It is our hope that everyone receiving these shawls will feel God's embrace and BCUMC's love.

Meeting Time and Location:

Mondays at 6:30pm-Claudette’s home

2nd, 4th and 5th Wednesdays of each month

10:30am-noon Cabin 2 (this might change)

The prayer shawl ministry was invited to the quilting group meetings on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, quilting group meets at the Briarcliff Community Center.
