Men's Ministries

The men of our church support many of our programs and ministries with their volunteer time.

They often get together to "hang out" at bible study, grill some mean burgers, or dive into a local or global mission project.

For more information on how to get connected contact the church office.

New study starting June 3!  Please join us as we explore "Promised Land"  with Ray Vander Laan.

Travel to Israel and radically change your understanding of the Scriptures. Wet your feet in the Jordan River and impact the culture with life-giving water. Show your trust in the Lord's provision by offering up first fruits at Jericho. And cleanse the land by confronting evil and using the tools of society to redeem your world for God. In this first volume of the That the World May Know series, historian and teacher Ray Vander Lana will show you how God guided his people to a specific place - the Promised Land - to impact the world both in ancient times and today. Experience the Bible in historical context!
5 Lessons:  1) Standing at the Crossroads, 2) Wet Feet, 3) First Fruits, 4) Confronting Evil, 5) Iron of Culture

Men's Mission Teams

Our men have a number of ways that they reach out to the community, both around the world and right here in Spicewood.

LaSenda Children’s Home, Guatemala

A Men's Mission Team travels to the La Senda Children's Home in Guatemala each year. They work on various building projects for the growing home. We send monthly financial support to this orphanage and school in Guatemala of $500. We have annual mission trips to the home by both Men and Women Ministries. Others in our congregation have "adopted" a child and send monthly support. We have a special connection with the kids at La Senda!

Other Mission opportunities

The men's ministry teams have traveled to Louisiana and to various areas within Texas to help with rebuilds after hurricane destruction.
