Children's Ministry

We Believe: Children Matter

At Bee Creek UMC, we believe that children matter, and we consider it a holy calling and honor to walk alongside children and their families as they grow, learn, play, laugh, and love.

Children experience the world with such pure joy and wonder. Which is why now is the perfect time for you to bring your children to experience the joy of a wonderful church family, and the wonder of getting to know God.

Children matter deeply to Jesus and they matter deeply to us here at Bee Creek UMC.

Children's Church

Online Only at this time.

Link for Children's Church at Home can be found below.

Every Sunday morning children join us in worship in the sanctuary for a children's moment with the pastor and then are dismissed for Children's Church, which is for kids from birth through fifth grade.

Our Student Ministry team creates curriculum each week that mirrors the Pastors message.   Customizing the lessons in this way fosters an intergenerational experience, bringing the whole family together in their faith journey.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love kids each week! Every volunteer who leads in the Children's Ministry here at Bee Creek UMC has had a background check and completed webinar training through Safe Gatherings. Our  volunteers are committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.

Sunday Mornings

Come have fun with us as we dive into God’s word, interact through music, games, and activities, and build friendships! On Sunday mornings, the Children's Ministry is divided into classes according to age and/or grade groups.

Nursery (Up to 4 years old) - Available during the 9:30am and 11:00am services, the volunteers and staff in the nursery strive to create a safe and meaningful environment where children get their first look at God’s love through songs and playtime activities.

*Simply drop off your infant-3 year old off in our nursery which is located in Cabin 1-a directly in front of the sanctuary building.

Elementary (5 years old - 2nd grade) - At 9:30am and 11:00am, children come together for a large group experience of worship and Bible teaching where they learn the powerful truths found throughout the Scriptures. They conclude with small groups where they learn to navigate the Bible and apply the Scriptures to their lives through discussion, games and activities.

*Children's Check in table is right in the foyer of the sanctuary.  We have computers to Check-In and print out a name tags:  one for your children to wear and one for you to present at Check-Out.

Preteen (3rd - 5th grade) - At 9:30am and 11:00am, We love preteens, and our goal is to reach them for Christ and build them up once they come.  We are passionate about showing them how they can have a meaningful relationship with the God.

October 23rd, 2020

Bee Creek would like to give all of you parents a time where you can go out and relax without the worry of looking for child care or leaving them alone.

Parent's Night Out teams up with different ministry groups from the church in order to create an intergenerational discipling culture.  This event will be co-hosted by the Men of BCUMC!

Each Parents' Night Out is unique and offers the children an experience they will not forget. This event will have a "Camping-In" theme!

Registration for this event has closed.  Be on the lookout for our next Parent's Night Out event coming January 2021!!

Curriculum Brainstorm

Here at Bee Creek, our Student Ministry Team works each week to create Sunday school curriculum that goes along with the Pastor's message.

We love to receive input and feedback and give our congregation an opportunity to get involved in the process.

Please follow the link below to join in the brainstorm and help raise these children up in the way they should go!
