We take seriously Jesus’ command to "love our neighbor as ourselves”.  Therefore, we have a number of ways  we reach out to our community, both around the world and right here in Spicewood.

A Great Big Thank-you to the Girl and Boy Scouts for Cleaning our Water Tanks. You Guys Rock!!!!!!!

Come help keep the garden alive and yielding great fruit! All ages welcome!

All of the produce is donated to our local food bank Helping Hands Crisis Ministries to provide healthy food to those in need.

Exciting News    We are breaking  ground at the church  which will be our new Community Garden Site come the Fall.  WE NEED VOLUNTEERS NOW! Our first step is putting our irrigation system in place and we will need volunteers cleaning out weeds, trenching, laying pipe etc. If you would like to be a part of this ministry please contact Sue B at sue@beecreekumc.org or Clara Kistner at clarakistner@hotmail.com

It has been a productive year at the garden, in the month of June alone, the garden yielded over 400  pounds of fruits and vegetables!  By moving to the church grounds, we can almost double our production. Some of the fruits and vegetables produced this year include: carrots, beets, onions, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, squash, eggplant, cucumbers, asparagus, spinach, okra, chard, watermelon, cantaloupe, blackberries; and the following herbs garlic, basil, peppermint, sage and thyme. Be a part of this great ministry which is helping feed those in need in our community.

Helping Hands Crisis Ministry

If your house is like mine you might have a ton of THERMAL LUNCH BOXES- we now can

Through Helping Hand Crisis Ministries we are delivering a half a ton of food  each week to the Austin Homeless population specifically those at Campsite 183 - located in SE Austin

Although they sometimes have tents and a back packs to carry around - they have no means of keeping things cool - even for an hour , much less a day.

So as the HOT TX SUMMER  months are here - we'd like to pass out our unused thermal lunch bags - with a frozen Gatorade bottle.

So if you have any useable thermal lunch bags please bring them by ( the church office ) and they'll find a new home - you can even put a note or prayer inside!!

Also we could use mens and womans shorts and t-shirts, tank tops, socks, sunscreen and dry shampoo.  Please drop them at the church office as well.

Feel free to contact SueB at sue@beecreekumc.org if you would like to volunteer at this site. They work on Fridays from 11am to 1pm.

When: 3rd Tuesday of every Month----5:30pm to 7:30pm

Meet: St. John Neumann Church---360 & Bee Cave Rd (carpooling available)

Prayer Trail of Hope, Kindness and Comfort

We are inviting everyone to be a part of this beautiful project that will bring hope, kindness and comfort to all during these crazy times. Come take a stroll on the prayer trail, located on the church grounds (trail begins behind the amphitheater and wraps around church property, see pic above ). Hang  a wind chime, or paint a rock with your favorite bible verse, positive message, inspirational quote or happy image and bring it to the trail so everyone can know that they are loved and supported during these hard times.

Drop your prayers in the prayer box and we at Bee Creek will pray for you!

"Kindness is a gift everyone can afford to give."

"Tutors change the world, one child at a time."

Registration for the 2020/2021 school year will be soon, stay Tuned!
