WOMEN

Vision statement:
BCUMC’s Women’s Ministry desires to nurture women in their personal relationship with God through fostering friendships, focusing on God’s word, faithfulness to prayer, and facilitating mission outreach.

“The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” Isaiah 58:11

Rise and Shine Women's Group

This ministry is where all women are invited to join us... all ages, members and friends!  It is an opportunity to get to know other women if you are new to BCUMC, meet new women to BCUMC if you are a long time member, and to keep in touch with women that you just don't have the time to meet with otherwise! 

We gather at different locations to eat breakfast and visit, share in a devotion, lift up one another's joys and burdens in prayer, and collect offerings for the Women's Ministry Outreach activities.  Sometimes we even add in some exercise if you are up for it!

In addition, we are looking forward to ministering to the women living at the Marbridge Ranch through Rise and Shine and leading a retreat for them in February of 2008.  We also support the local HELPING HANDS Ministry.  We hope that you will mark your calendars with the following dates and plan to join us!

Annual Women's Retreat

Our 3rd Annual Women's Retreat will be held January 18-20, 2008.  Mark your calendar! Our third annual retreat is expected to be as encouraging and fun as the first two!

Women’s Mission Outreach
We currently support in prayer and finances three children at the The World Our Parish orphanage in Guatemala: Samy, Jeferrson, and Brenda. We also seek to support our church in local outreach events and activities.

Women’s Bible Studies
There are several opportunities, September through May, to join various types of Bible studies.
