OUR VISION

Our congregation has a heart for the community, and we have quickly developed ministries and outreach programs that serve children, youth, adults, and those in need. From it’s founding, BCUMC has vowed to make the Great Commandment our mission statement; therefore, we strive in everything we do to “love the Lord, our God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength – and to love our neighbor as ourselves.”

At BCUMC we seek to minister those persons who have been hurt by the church, disillusioned by the church, or who are just not interested in religious organizations.  If you have tried church before and not liked it - try BCUMC!

We hope that all who visit our church will D.R.I.N.K. from the River of Life, Jesus Christ:
Discover – We hope that you will discover God’s love for you.
Relate – We want you to have loving relationships with God and others.
Invite – We want to invite everyone to enjoy the blessings of God.
Nurture – We want to nurture your spiritual growth.
Kindle – We want to kindle an excitement for service to Jesus and others.

We have been meeting since October of 2007 to "revamp" our mission and vision statement for the next 5 years of the church.  After Easter of 2008 we will be holding meetings to discuss and get feedback on our ideas.  We hope to unveil our new vision statement by May 2008.
