At BCUMC, we encourage our friends and members to be involved in “Worship + 2.” This consists of:

We believe that involvement in these three areas will bring a fullness to your Christian discipleship, and will give you the best opportunity to experience the abundant life that we are promised by Jesus Christ. Please check out the following areas of involvement and

It is hard to serve a God that we don’t understand. Therefore, we encourage you to spend time in Bible Study to help you connect with our Creator. We offer a number of ongoing, and short-term studies that we believe will benefit you.

Diving Deeper

Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM, join our pastor, David Payne as he leads this time of study, visioning, challenge, and inspiration.  This is a place to take the "next step" in your faith.  As we move into the future it is important that we take the time to make sure that we are properly "tuned into" God's leading for us.  We hope to see you on Wednesdays.

Sunday Christian Education Classes
We offer Christian Education Classes for people of all ages on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. These small group settings allow you to enhance your knowledge and application of Christian basics. Classes are designed so that you may “drop in” at anytime and participate. Please see an usher to find out where the class for your age group is held.

Disciple Bible Studies
The Disciple Bible Study program is an in-depth study of the Scriptures. Disciple I gives you the opportunity to get an overview of the entire Bible in a 52 week course.  A Disciple I class will begin in September 2007 - call the church office for more information.

Alpha Course
Alpha is a short 10 week practical introduction to the Christian faith. It is a valuable course for people at all stages of faith development. It is a course designed to answer common questions about the Christian life. This is an ecumenical program that is literally taught around the world. There is more information available to you concerning the course online at www.alphausa.org. We offer 2 Alpha Courses each year.

Short Term Studies
We offer a number of short term studies for you to participate in. Typically these courses run from 8-12 weeks. Information and registration information will be detailed in our newsletters.
